Suzhou University of Technology Sino-Finnish Credit Transfer Joint Degree Program (Double Degree) in Applied Chemistry
Program Introduction
The Sino-Finnish Credit Transfer Joint Degree Program (Double Degree) in Applied Chemistry at Suzhou University of Technology follows a 1.5+2+0.5 model. Students study domestically for the first to third semesters (1.5 years), proceed to Tampere University of Applied Sciences in Finland for the fourth to seventh semesters (2 years), and return to complete the final semester (0.5 year) in China. Courses completed meet the bachelor's degree requirements of Tampere University of Applied Sciences, and students will be awarded a Bachelor’s Degree Certificate from the Finnish institution (major name in Finland: Bioproduct and Process Engineering). Similarly, upon meeting the graduation and bachelor’s degree requirements of Suzhou University of Technology, students will receive a undergraduate diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree Certificate from SZUT. (Note: Students who do not study abroad will not be eligible for the domestic degree.)
The program's specialized courses are primarily taught in English, requiring students to have a foundational level of English proficiency. Participation in the study-abroad component is mandatory, and students without intentions to study overseas are not eligible for admission.
